Too Much Confusing Advice On How To Get Fit?
I am slowly becoming more confused at the multitude of different advice I keep receiving on the right or most effective way to train.
I subscribe to a small number of well known keep fit sites, which lets me keep up to date on the latest trends and advice. In the last two months I have received a dozen or more articles on the latest way to improve my body without doing so much work. Don’t get me wrong, if I could achieve a perfectly sculptured body without having to put in too much effort I would jump at the idea. Who out there wouldn’t?
The problem is that eventually the enourmous flow of contradictory advice means that we eventually can’t tell the good from the bad. I have to conclude that nothing will replace good old fashioned hard work and effort at the gym or out on the road.
I have opted to develop my own training programmes, using some of the advice I have received and also reading as much as I can on the subject. During the next few months we want to produce simple to follow crib cards for each gym exercise and allow you to build them into your programme. We will cover diet also, based on professional advice, but designed to fit into the life of normal people.
